dc.description.abstractan actinomycete was isolated from the nitrogen fixing root nodules of datisca cannabina. The actinomycete formed hyphae and sporangia, like typical frankia strains but failed to infect host plants. This noninfective isolate was confimred as frankia by sequence analysisen_US
