dc.description.abstractUsing a test particle approach, the dynamical wake potential has been examined in a homogeneous self-gravitating dusty plasma. The periodic oscillatory potential might lead to an alternative approach to the Jeans instability for the formation of dust agglomeration leading to gravitational collapse of the self-gravitating systems.en_US
