Abstract:	In the title compound, C9H9FN2O, the dihedral angle between the fluorobenzene ring and the mean plane of the side chain is 15.59 (14) . In the crystal, the molecules form inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H O hydrogen bonds, resulting in R2 2 (8) loops. These dimers are reinforced by C—H O interactions
